BLACK GLASS

As you turn away from the sinkhole,  you are met with the chilling sound of glass particles exploding on impact against buildings in the distance. Every crash of black glass shards against metal was like a gunshot and a harbinger of death; it only reminds you of how little time you do not have. You've heard rumors that the Black Storm's force is as strong as a hurricane and that it will raze through and slice through everyday doors and windows that are not reinforced in the  "zombie-apocalypse style" written about in books and stories. Maybe it would behoove you to look for creative ways to board up windows to protect from black glass and to cloak your presence from anomalies looking for human prey.

In this moment of respite, you prepare to set out for shelter and to pick up as many supplies as you can to weather out this storm. Just be careful of anomalies sniffing you out and that come knocking on your door.
